What subject matter do you photograph?
I primarily photograph (and am most passionate about) children and families, but I do accept a limited number of commercial projects and high school seniors each quarter. I also shoot 5-10 weddings a year. I limit my weddings to offer an exceptional personalized experience.
Do you offer mini sessions, sales or discounts?
I do not offer any type of portrait session that is condensed or miniature. All of my sessions are designed to provide my client with images that reflect their connection. That takes time. I enjoy spending time with my clients and working together to create meaningful connected portraits – nothing rushed or hurried. As a client of mine, you can expect to have 80-100 final edited images in your returned portrait gallery. I offer only one discount annually, for Mothers Day.
Where do you shoot?
Most shoots take place outdoors, with the exception of sessions held inside client homes. I have several go-to locations in and around Denver and Breckenridge.
What time of day do you shoot?
Fabulous sunlight is a large part of the equation when I create my imagery. For this reason, I shoot one hour before sunset.
What is your session fee?
The session fee is $250 and is required to book your appointment date. Studio Prints, Products and Digital Collections are sold separately. The average client invests anywhere from $1,300 to $3,000.
Do you offer the sale of digital files?
Absolutely. Digital Collections start at $500. Digital Files are delivered in high resolution and come standard with a Personal Print Release. Files are delivered via online gallery Pic Time. Session styling assistance is available and highly recommended.
What is your policy on rescheduling?
Life happens. I understand, appreciate and accept the unexpected. If something unavoidable arises, we will find a time in the very near future that works for both parties. Please remember that session fees are non-refundable and I kindly request a 24 hour notice. If the unavoidable issue is weather, all efforts will be made to re-schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
How long does it take to receive my images?
Please allow up to three weeks to receive your childhood or family portrait gallery. Commercial clients can expect to receive their imagery within 7 business days. Every effort is made to release at least 2 images to you prior to the full release of your gallery.
How long will our session last?
On location childhood and family sessions typically last 60-120 minutes, while newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours. When you schedule your appointment, we will discuss the expected amount of shooting time.
